overberg1The name Overberg is derived from Over ‘t Berg meaning ‘over the mountain’ and is reference to the Overberg location relative to Cape Town.

Overberg lies to the east of Cape Town beyond the Hottentots-Holland Mountains. Overberg is a region in the Western Cape between the Cape Peninsula and the Garden Route.
Nestled in Overberg is the Krogelberg Biosphere Reserve abundant with a diverse range on flowering plants not found anywhere else in the fynbos biome.
